Thermal Design
ATSI’s mechanical design group specializes in thermal analysis and uses the latest finite-element modeling tools to perform 2-D and 3-D steady-state and transient analyses. We can import results from thermal analyses into our mechanical stress packages to evaluate the effects of high-temperature processes on supporting vessels and structures.
HVAC Design
ATSI has experience in the design of all types of HVAC systems, ranging from small warm air heating installations to computer rooms requiring positive pressurization, air scrubbing and humidity control. ATSI has designed new installations incorporating the latest energy saving concepts and equipment and has handled projects involving renovation of existing equipment in older buildings.
Fluid-Flow Modeling
On more complex piping systems, our engineers will perform flowpath analysis and optimization to enhance system performance. This ensures that system process requirements are met using optimum pumping requirements.
3-D Solid Modeling
ATSI’s designers can perform visualization/presentation, proof of concept, and virtual prototyping of new or existing designs. Working in conjunction with our analytical engineering group, our designers can use finite-element analysis to perform evaluations prior to construction.
Plant Shutdowns / Time Sensitive Work
At ATSI, we have developed a reputation for creative problem solving in relation to time sensitive plant shutdown work. We pay particular attention to existing field conditions. This assures the successful installation and start-up of each new system, facility, or piece of equipment. ATSI’s engineers can assist you with activities such as:
