Summary of Scope of Service
Durez, a phenolic resin producer, selected ATSI to specify the process design requirements to add a high- vacuum step to an existing operation. The purpose of this new step was to reduce the product residual phenol content. ATSI developed the process requirements to produce the new product. ATSI performed the calculation to determine the operating conditions and scrubber requirements to maintain vents within the approved air permit values. Based on the recommended operation, ATSI specified all process equipment, provided purchasing support, performed construction management, and assisted in startup.
