The Erie/Niagara Chapter of the New York State Society of Professional Engineers selected Mrs. Karen Armstrong, ATSI's Director of Geomatics Technology Division, as the recipient of the 2009 Citizen of the Year Award in recognition of her distinguished career and continued commitment to the profession. The Citizen of the Year Award recognizes a person who has demonstrated a high degree of effectiveness in carrying out their responsibilities and has distinguished themself to the community through professional and civic commitment.
