Geomatics technology is used by decisions makers the world over, to improve productivity and provide additional value to their data management.
Geomatics Technology
Geomatics Technology is a multi-disciplinary approach to building integrated systems that use spatially referenced information.
By combining data from a variety of sources such as digitized and scanned maps, CADD, Management Information Systems (MIS), 3D Laser Scanning, survey/GPS, field sampling, multiple databases, aerial photography and cartography, ATSI’s professionals use Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to overlay information to create interactive mapping systems.
GIS are a combination of computer hardware, software, personal and multiple databases used to help visualize, manipulate, analyze and display information that is tied to a spatial location. GIS converts data into information, and information into practical knowledge, which ultimately equates to cost savings for our clients.
